Welcome to the Wiggins Family Tree - A place for The Wiggins Family, and its many branches, to post community information and share life as it happens.
If something’s happening and you want share it with other in the family, post it here. Have a birthday party and want to share the pictures, post it here. Want to get the Easter and Christmas information out to the family in an easy and central location, post it here. Want to share a video clip of the party, post it here. (I think you get the idea.)
And the best part is all you need to know to post to the website is how to send an email.
So, for example, if you wanted to share pictures from Easter - just attach them to an email, put a title for the pictures in the email subject line, add some text in the email body (if you so choose - that part is optional) and send the email to the correct email address (discussed separately) and, voilà, you have just instantly posted to the Wiggins Family Tree website - it's that easy.
Not only that though - your post will also go out to social websites like Twitter, Facebook, Flickr, Picasa, Vimeo and youTube - just to name a few of the majors – that are linked to the Wiggins Family Tree website. So you can follow the information in a multitude of different ways.
The site is very flexible so you can send pictures, video, audio clips or just plain text if you so choose - they will all be directed to the correct social sites after posting.
The site will accept, convert and display attached files in the following formats: HTML, Text, MS Word (DOC), MS Power-Point (PPT), Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF), Pictures (JPG/GIF/PNG), Audio (MP3) and Video (AVI/MPG). (You can also send other file types, not listed above, and they will show up as linked attachments to the post instead of embedded in it.)
And for you techno-phobes: If you don't feel comfortable posting just send the material to Jesse or Brien and they will be happy to format and post the information for you as well.
